Description	:	Marguerite Elizabeth Artzer, 87, Topeka, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 1999, at a Topeka hospital. She was born Dec. 12, 1911, in Topeka, to Nicholas and Josephine Ingenthron Baum. She was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella Little Flower Circle No. 503 and Women of the Moose. She was a past senior regent of Chapter No. 1091 of Women of the Moose and a past president of the International College of Regents Board of Women of the Moose. She married Clarence G. Artzer on Nov. 10, 1932, in Topeka. He survives. A daughter, Mary Jo Johnson, died March 6, 1999. A grandson, Gary Johnson, died Feb. 14, 1996. Other survivors include three sons, Paul A. Artzer and Clarence "Butch" Artzer, both in Topeka, and Pete W. Artzer, Fort Worth, Texas; a daughter, Cathy Nicolay, Topeka; a sister, Clara Baker, Topeka; 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Artzer will lie in state from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Brennan- Mathena Funeral Home where rosaries will be recited by Daughters of Isabella Little Flower Circle No. 503 at 5:30 p.m. and by the parish at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
