Read More	Married Thomas James Westhoff May 7, 1929 FRONTENAC - Marguerite F. "Maggie" Westhoff, 97, of Frontenac, died at 1:53 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2005, at Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center. She had been in failing health for four years. She was born Aug. 8, 1907, in Greenbush to Benny and Mary Ellen (Brophy) LaForge. She was raised in Greenbush and lived in the area most of her life. She lived in Idaho and later Richmond, Calif., before returning to Greenbush in 1953. She was a cook for many years at the Greenbush Education Center and most recently was a bookkeeper for Derailed Commodity. She married Thomas J. Westhoff on May 7, 1929, at Greenbush. He preceded her in death on July 3, 1968. She formerly was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church of Greenbush and St. Michael's Catholic Church of Girard. She was currently a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Frontenac. Survivors include one daughter, Sharon K. Doherty of Frontenac; and three sisters, Kathryn Jacquinot of Girard, Jeanne Sullivan of Wichita and Marie Horsch of Wellington. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Ferdinand LaForge, Edward "Sonny" LaForge, William "Bill" LaForge and Verdan "Bud" LaForge; three sisters, Clara Stephenson, Alice Hallacy and Patricia Gutierrez; and one infant son, Thomas William Westhoff. The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Greenbush with Fr. Robert McElwee and Fr. Donald Thissen officiating. Monsignor Irvin Lampe will also officiate. Burial will be at Greenbush Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Girard with the visitation following.
