Born March 7, 1899 in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Peter H. Long and Francis B. Gorman Long. She was also preceded in death by her husband John S. Schwarzenbach in 1981. Mrs. Schwarzenbach was a homemaker and was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Survivors include one brother, John J. Born March 7, 1899 in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Peter H. Long and Francis B. Gorman Long. She was also preceded in death by her husband John S. Schwarzenbach in 1981. Mrs. Schwarzenbach was a homemaker and was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Survivors include one brother, John J. Long and wife Margaret, Cumberland; two nieces, Susan Long Clucas and husband, Gregory, Wilmington, N.C. and Mary Geatz and husband Norman, Cumberland; and three nephews, Michael Long and wife Beryl, Frederick, Stephen Long, Cumberland, and John J. "Bing" Long, Cumberland. Friends will be received in the Scarpelli Funeral Home, Virginia Avenue, Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. A Christian Wake Service will be held Monday at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church by Father Eric Gauchat OFM Cap, and Father Robert F. Hopkins. Interment will be SS Peter and Paul Cemetery. The family requests contributions be made to the Friends Aware Endowment Fund.
