Roth was born October 19, 1930, in Milford, Nebraska to Noah and Cora (Hershberger) Reber, the youngest of four children, and passed away on Friday, January 21, 2011, at her home in Milford at the age of 80 years, 3 months and 2 days. As a young girl, Marguerite accepted Christ as her personal savior and was baptized at East Fairview Mennonite Church where she was a life-long member. Roth was born October 19, 1930, in Milford, Nebraska to Noah and Cora (Hershberger) Reber, the youngest of four children, and passed away on Friday, January 21, 2011, at her home in Milford at the age of 80 years, 3 months and 2 days. As a young girl, Marguerite accepted Christ as her personal savior and was baptized at East Fairview Mennonite Church where she was a life-long member. She attended Milford Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1948. On September 12, 1948, Marguerite was united in marriage to Darold Roth and to this union six children were born: Linda, Judith, Lynn, Ron, Russell and Danny were born. They raised their family on the farm where they spent their entire married life. Marguerite was a busy homemaker, wife and mother and provided well for the needs of her family by gardening and canning fruits and vegetables. She also enjoyed sewing and quilting for her family and enjoyed being a part of the ladies sewing group of the church in her earlier years. She loved music, singing and playing the piano. She was always deeply concerned for the spiritual welfare of her family and her passion was furthering the Kingdom of God. Marguerite was also active in prison ministry and taught bible school in Canada on the Indian reservations for several years and also went on several mission trips to Haiti and Chile with her husband. Marguerite is survived by her husband, Darold, daughters; sons-in-law, Linda and Dan Burkey, Parker, CO, Judy and David Buckles, Jeffersonville, IN; sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Denise Roth, Russ and Terri Roth, all of Milford, Dan and Jade Roth, Denton; 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, sister-in-law, Don and Barbara Reber, Goshen, IN; many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Marguerite was preceded in death by her parents, son, Lynn in 1988, daughter-in-law, Jana Roth in 1999, grandson, Ryan Roth in 2007, sister, Berniece Yoder, brother Kenneth Reber.
