Description	:	Marguerite "Pat" Hiestand Lamb, 91 years, of Jacksonville, Florida, died Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at home, surrounded with love from her family. She was born in Hillsboro, OH on October 7, 1917, the daughter of the late Clarence and Sara (Perin) Hiestand. The third of seven children, she grew up in Hillsboro with her brothers and sisters, John Hiestand, Helen Miller, Ruth Hiestand and Dorothy Sommers, all deceased. The third of seven children, she grew up in Hillsboro with her brothers and sisters, John Hiestand, Helen Miller, Ruth Hiestand and Dorothy Sommers, all deceased. Virginia Morrow and Daniel Hiestand, surviving, and graduated from Hillsboro High School. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, John D. Lamb. She is survived by son, David Lamb (Myrna), of Blooming Glen, PA and daughters, Rita Takeuchi (Stephen) of Jacksonville, FL and Ruth Jordan (Kevin) of Cary, NC; five grandchildren, James Takeuchi, Sara Takeuchi Pettit (Grant), Alana Takeuchi, Rachel Jordan and David Jordan; and a number of nieces and nephews. She will be remembered with love for her sweet, kind and giving nature. The funeral services will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 201 East Main St., Hillsboro, OH, the Reverend Maurice G. Mitchell officiating. The final resting place will be the Hillsboro Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by Thompson Funeral Services.
