A very large crowd was present. The still born daughter was buried in the same casket with the mother, in the latter's arms. The decedent, whose maiden name was Marguerite Sarah Hayes, was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hayes and was born in Buckingham township April 15, 1892. She taught rural schools before her marriage to George Beenken on June 17, 1916. Mr. Beenken, who was cashier of the Bank of Buckingham for a numbers of years, is now managing the elevator and lumber yard at Buckingham and is widely known over the county. Surviving, besides the husband, are four children—Robert, 16; John, 14; Donald, 12; and Kathryn, 9. Mrs. Beenken is also mourned by her parents, three brothers and three sisters. The latter are Mrs. Charles McKenna, of LaPorte; Mrs. Walter Thornton, Buckingham; Katherine and Jack Hayes, at home; Tom Hayes, Reinbeck; and Ed Hayes Buckingham. Relatives present from a distance at the funeral service yesterday included the following: Mrs. Henry Beenken, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Beenken, Ben Beenken and two children, Mrs. Helmer Beenken and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Warner Beenken and Henry Beenken Jr., all of Titonka, Iowa; Mrs. Fred Ubben and Hans Beenken, both of Makota; Henry Schulte, Mr. and Mrs. Jelpo Beenken and son, Henry, and Mrs. Clas Murdman, all of Alexander; Mrs. Fred Furling and daughter and Mrs. Henry Schulte Jr., all of Belmond; M r. and Mrs. Tom Hayes and daughter, Margaret, of Forest City; Mr. and Mrs. George Neuman, of Clear Lake; and Margaret Barrett, George Schlenk, Kitty Schlenk and Elizabeth Schlenk, all of Rockford, Illinois.
