She now enjoys the beatific vision of the God to whom she was so devoted during her lifetime. Surrounded by her family she quietly returned to the arms of the Father. Valentini died Monday afternoon, Feb. 5, 2007, at the Granite County Medical Center. She now enjoys the beatific vision of the God to whom she was so devoted during her lifetime. Surrounded by her family she quietly returned to the arms of the Father. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Deno J. Valentini; her parents, Harry and Irene Nazer; brothers, Bill and Harry Nazer; sister-in-law, Rose Nazer, sister and brother-in-law, Charles and Ida Keenan, and brother-in-law, James Puccinelli. Born in Ontario, Canada, July 4, 1918, Marguerite immigrated to Anaconda, where she met and married her husband July 16, 1938. Marguerite and Deno raised two children, Richard John and Donna Marie. She instilled in her children and her grandchildren a love and respect for life and a perpetual respect for the charismas of hope, love, charity and the understanding of a determined work ethic. Marguerite was a devoted and longtime member of the Anaconda Catholic Community. She was an active member of the Daughters of Isabella, the Mill Creek Home Extension Society, and multiple other charitable organizations, which allowed her to live her faith and follow the commandment of "love one another as I have loved you." She is survived by her daughter, Donna Marie Sullivan, and her son, Richard John Valentini, and their spouses James Sullivan and Karla Valentini, her special friend and sister-in-law, Anne Puccinelli, and sister-in-law, Margaret Nazer. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren which include the children of Donna Marie, James, Nancy, Julie and Dan Sullivan; the children of Richard John, Todd, Tami and Geno Valentini; 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Marguerite had a special bond with her friend and caregiver, Mary Ellen Crisler. All of these were an inspiration and source of great love and pride for her. During her lifetime, Marguerite had a passion for reading, a love of traveling, and derived great joy in being physically active. One of her greatest gifts to her family was the bequeathing of the joy of family, a respect for the dignity of each individual, and a sense of hope in the goodness of life and its Creator. She especially reveled in the fact that her birthday fell on the birthday of her adopted country and derived great pleasure in celebrating that birthday at the family cabin in Georgetown Lake. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007, at 10:30 a.m., celebrated by the Rev. Jack Murray. Following the Mass of Resurrection, inurnment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in the Valentini family plot. A luncheon will follow at the Anaconda Catholic Community Social Center. Cremation has taken place and no wake or vigil will be conducted. Memorials: Juvenile Diabetes Association or charity of the donor's choice. "I am the resurrection and the life.
