The deceased was born on February 8, 1851 in Klein Krams, Mechlenburg-Schwerin. In 1871 she came to America with her parents and siblings. In 1872 she married Johann Schranck. Read More	Translated from the "Deutscher Herold" Newspaper, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, published 6 Jun 1912 (excerpt attached): Hillside – May 31 [1912] On the 29th of the month Maria Schranck, née Aulerich, wife of Mr. Johann Schranck, died of heart and lung disease. The deceased was born on February 8, 1851 in Klein Krams, Mechlenburg-Schwerin. In 1871 she came to America with her parents and siblings. In 1872 she married Johann Schranck. They had 10 children - only 3 of whom survive. In 1882, the Schranck family came to Dakota where they were among those who founded the Lutheran congregation at Blooming Valley. The deceased was a loyal member of this community, which is associated with the Iowa Synod. Her funeral took place on Sunday at the Blooming Valley Church Graveyard with many attending. May she rest in peace.
