Read More	MRS MARY BODIE JACKSON DIES IN SEDALIA MISSOURI Funeral Services Held At State Center Last Friday Afternoon Mrs. Mary Bodie Jackson, a former resident of this city, passed away at her home in Sedalia, Mo., on Wednesday morning, November 24, at 2:50 o'clock. She had been bedfast for a period of about eight weeks. Mrs. Jackson, whose maiden name was Mary Elizabeth Bodie, was born at State Center on February 18, 1877, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bodie. She grew to womanhood in this community and was married to Wm. A. Jackson on February 18, 1896, at State Center. The family moved to Missouri about 1900. Mrs. Jackson is survived by her husband and one son, Ray, and three brothers, Will, Henry and Frank Bodie of State Center. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and throughout her life was smiling, patient and sincere, working to make others happy. The funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church in this city on Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in charge of the pastor Rev. J. D. Ransom and Elder Richeson of the [Reorganized] Latter Day Saints church of Rhodes. The pallbearers were Martin Richeson, James Gray, Robert Pitcher and Ray Eggers and burial was in Eden cemetery at Rhodes.
