Joseph and Barbara (Tschetter) Glanzer was born November 26, 1880 on a farm southwest of Bridgewater, SD and quietly passed away on Monday, August 10, 1964 at Freeman Community Hospital attaining the age of 83 years, 8 months and 15 days. In 1897 she realized her soul's lost condition and found peace in the blood of Lord Jesus and on August 1st of the same year she was baptized by Elder Heinrich Goosen and became a member of the Salem Krimmer Mennonite Brethern Church where she remained faithful these 67 years. Joseph and Barbara (Tschetter) Glanzer was born November 26, 1880 on a farm southwest of Bridgewater, SD and quietly passed away on Monday, August 10, 1964 at Freeman Community Hospital attaining the age of 83 years, 8 months and 15 days. In 1897 she realized her soul's lost condition and found peace in the blood of Lord Jesus and on August 1st of the same year she was baptized by Elder Heinrich Goosen and became a member of the Salem Krimmer Mennonite Brethern Church where she remained faithful these 67 years. On December 10, 1899 she was united in Holy matrimony with Jacob H. Tschetter and they established their home on a farm in Hutchinson County. In 1932 her husband, Jacob entered his eternal rest. Mary continued to live on the family farm until 1950. She then lived in her own home in Freeman, SD in recent years. She was an industrious individual and had many days of hard labor. Her refined art as a seamstress brought much pleasure to her children, grandchildren and others. She loved to read and found much comfort in the Word of God and the old Gesang Buch. She spent many hours singing these songs. She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 son in law and 1 daughter in law.
