Description	:	Maria was the daughter of Anton Meier. She married Joseph Klingreis in 1879. They were the parents of Theresia (Liever), Anna (Zitzlsperger), Francis (1886-1867, John G. Schreck), Joseph J. (1880-1973), Anton, unknown (1890-1892), and one more child who preceded him in death. Carroll Daily Herald - Friday , June 16th, 1933 - Mrs. Joe Klingseis, 84, a resident of Carroll county for 55 years, died last evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Liewer, at Willey. Carroll Daily Herald - Friday , June 16th, 1933 - Mrs. Joe Klingseis, 84, a resident of Carroll county for 55 years, died last evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Liewer, at Willey. She had been an invalid since her leg was amputated 13 years ago and the last 3 months had been bedfast. Funeral services, will be held tomorrow morning at 9:30 o'clock at St. Mary's church at Willey. Requiem mass will be read by the Rev. Father H.J. Dries. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery by the side of her husband. Mary Meier, daughter of Anton Meier, was born at Landau, An der Isar, Niederbayern, Germany in 1849. She came to the United States in 1878 and located on a farm near Wiley. In 1879 she was united in marriage to Joseph Klingreis, and they made their home on a farm near Roselle, where they lived 12 years. They then moved to a farm northwest of Dedham where they spent 18 years and then retired and moved into Dedham, where they lived until Mr. Klingseis died in 1927. Since that time Mrs. Klingseis has made her home with her children. She was a devout Catholic and although confined to a wheel chair for 13 years was faithful in the performance of her church duties. She was a member of the Rosary sodality. Mrs. Klingseis was the oldest member of her family and the last to pass on. She is survived by the following sons and daughters: J.J. Klingseis, of Arcadia; Mrs. John Liewer, of Willey; Mrs. L.L. Zitzlsperger, of Dedham, Mrs. J.G. Schreck, of Murdock, Minn. She also leaves 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
