Brown 29 Oct 1829 and had two children: Hannah Maria (whose memorial is linked below) and John M. Brown, born 5 Aug 1831 in NY and died 13 Feb 1851, probably in Defiance County, Ohio. Based upon where Hannah is buried, they must have lived in or near East Winfield, NY, which is about 20 miles NW of Cooperstown. After Benjamin Brown died 17 Aug 1832, she married John George Block 5 May 1836. Family lore indicates they were married in Cooperstown, NY, but proof has not been found. They moved from New York to Ohio around 1841. All three of her sons served in the Civil War. Her original grave marker is not visible at the cemetery. However, her descendants, including Art Block, placed a marker in June of 2014.
