Read More	THE MORNING PRESS WEDNESDAY, JULY 6, 1927, PAGE 1 HUSBAND, WIFE DIE WITHIN FEW HOURS OF EACH OTHER Surviving her husband, Edward Plimer, by only a few hours, Mrs. Plimer died early last night after a long illness, at her home, 825 De la Vina street. She had been unconcious for some time and did not know of the death of Mr. Plimer yesterday morning. Both Mr. And Mrs. Plimer were 64 years old. Mrs. Plimer was born and had lived all her life in Santa Barbara and was a member of the well known Pico family. Her funeral will be held Thursday morning from the Church of Our Lady of Sorrows, where high mass will be said, and burial will be in Calvary cemetery. Mr. Plimer was born in Illinois in 1863 and lived there until he came to California 30 years ago to take up farming. In 1912 he moved to Santa Barbara to take up the trucking business. He was a prominent member of the Knights of Pythias for 30 years and now his son, Frank Plimer, is the Chancelor Commander of the order. Mr. and Mrs. Plimer are survived by seven children, Mrs. Mary Gabriel, Mrs. George Simpson, Frank Plimer, Lawrence Plimer, Raymond Plimer, Edward Plimer, all of Santa Barbara, and Mrs. W.J. Swipe of Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the Charles T. Holland funeral chapel with the Knights of Pythias and Rev. E.L. Cochran officiating. Internment will be in the Goleta Cemetery. ________________________________________________________ Maria Rosa Pico was born to Mariano Pico and Maria Isabel Lopez Pico. She is a descendant of Felize Santiago De La Cruz Pico. She married Juan B. Villamil and had 2 children: John Baptiste Villamil and Inez Blanca Villamil Juan B. Villamil died about 1888. Rosa's second (and last) marriage was to Edward Plimier, a teamster from Illinois. They had 8 children Ellen, Mary Eva, Maude, Frank, Lawrence, Raymond, Isabelle and Edward W. Jr. Her nickname was "Rosie".
