(Kirk) Doty was born in Monroe county, New York, April 13, 1846, and died at her home July 26, 1907 at the age of 61 years, 3 months and 13 days. She was married to Theodore P. Doty, Aug 27, 1879, in Cass county, Michigan and immediately moved to Marshall county, Iowa, and after a few years to the home west of Spencer where both have died. (Kirk) Doty was born in Monroe county, New York, April 13, 1846, and died at her home July 26, 1907 at the age of 61 years, 3 months and 13 days. She was married to Theodore P. Doty, Aug 27, 1879, in Cass county, Michigan and immediately moved to Marshall county, Iowa, and after a few years to the home west of Spencer where both have died. There were five children come to bless this union of which three have preceded the parents and two, Roy and Bertha and three brothers, G. L. Kirk, David S. Kirk and J. M. Kirk and one sister, Catherine Carter are left to mourn her departure and their loss. Mrs. Doty had been in poor health for about five months, but a very patient sufferer. Funeral services were held at the house Sunday afternoon at 1:30, conducted by Rev. E. E. Evans and burial was at Riverside cemetery.
