Description	:	CENTRAL CITY — Marian M. Garrett, 71, of Central City died Monday, Aug. 4, 2014, at her home near Central City. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Fairview United Methodist Church near Central City, with Pastor Janet Burgel officiating. Inurnment will be in the Bureau Cemetery by Pierce Chapel. Garrett, 71, of Central City died Monday, Aug. 4, 2014, at her home near Central City. Wagner Funeral Home in Central City is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Garrett was born Oct. 26, 1942, in Patton, Pa., to Ralph and Helen (Stevens) Lenhart. She grew up in Central Square, N.Y. and graduated there. She was united in marriage to Wayne Collins and the couple lived in Brewerton, N.Y. and then in Cleveland, Ohio. On Aug. 9, 2008, Marian married Melvin Garrett and the couple lived on a farm North and West of Central City. Marian enjoyed playing cards such as pinochle, pitch and poker. She liked to go bowling, fishing, camping and traveling. Some of the traveling expeditions included Vegas, Branson, Wisconsin Dells (House on the Rocks), Black Hills, Yellowstone, Hawaii and Florida. She enjoyed white water rafting, zip lining, and going on cruises. She also liked hummingbirds and monarch butterflies. She is survived by her husband, Melvin Garrett of Central City; one daughter, Kay Neubert of Willoughby, Ohio; one granddaughter, Angela and (Travis) Johnson of Eastlake, Ohio; two brothers, Howard and (Darlene) Lenhart of Central City and Robert and (Terri) Lenhart of Veneta, Ore.; one uncle, Raymond Stevens of Syracuse, N.Y.; and several stepchildren, stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren. Marian was preceded in death by her parents; her son, William Collins; one brother, Ronald Lenhart; and one sister, Louise Hanno.
