Description	:	Marianne E. Bonwell, 67, of East Wenatchee, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 1999 at Central Washington Hospital. She was born on Nov. 6, 1931 to Edward and Lucille Heyen at Chelan. She grew up in the Boyd District and attended grade school there and Chelan High School. She loved riding her horse, Susie Q, in the mountains of Chelan. She married Loren "Gene" Bonwell on Aug. 21, 1948. In 1953, they moved to Wenatchee and raised their eight children. Bonwell, 67, of East Wenatchee, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 1999 at Central Washington Hospital. She was born on Nov. 6, 1931 to Edward and Lucille Heyen at Chelan. She grew up in the Boyd District and attended grade school there and Chelan High School. She loved riding her horse, Susie Q, in the mountains of Chelan. She married Loren "Gene" Bonwell on Aug. 21, 1948. In 1953, they moved to Wenatchee and raised their eight children. While raising her children, she worked at Parkside Manor and Deaconess Hospital in the nursery. She later raised Appaloosas and quarter horses. She was a member of the AQHA. She was a 4-H leader with the Hossie Endah's for seven years. She delighted in her grandchildren and her daughter, Kerri, brought great joy to her heart. "We will all miss her smile, wit and capacity to love." Marianne is survived by her husband, Loren "Gene" Bonwell, East Wenatchee; five daughters and sons-in-law, Kerri Lin Bonwell at the family home, Linda and Bob Witt, Wenatchee, Mari and L.R. "Dick" Flynn, Kalispell, MT, Kathy and Tom Arnold, Spokane, Terri and Clay Durham, Sr. East Wenatchee; three sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Deb, Brad and Cel, David and Wendy Bonwell, all of East Wenatchee; her mother and stepfather, Lucille and W.W. Evans, Manson; two brothers, Tom and Larry Heyen, both of Chelan; two half-sisters, Nancy Evans, Manson and Sandra Evans, New Castle, England; eight grandchildren, Steffanie Bonwell, Laurie Bonwell, Brian Quill, Annie Flynn, Clay Durham, Jr., Julie Bonwell, Tom Bonwell and Brandon Bonwell. She was preceded in death by her father, Ed, an infant son, Teddy, her brother, Leo and grandson, Geoffrey. A graveside inurnment service will be held Friday, Sept. 3, 1999 at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park, East Wenatchee with Chaplain Scott B. Langager officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to "Special Olympics." Friends and family will gather together to remember Marianne at David and Wendy Bonwell's home following the service. Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
