Kay Larson was born in Boone, Iowa, on May 6, 1938, the daughter of LeRoy and Leta (Harding) Ellsworth. She graduated from Boone High School in 1956. On April 10, 1959, Maridith married William Larson in Boone. The couple lived in Boone until 1969, moving to Decatur, Illinois, Lima, Ohio, and finally Overland Park, Kansas, where they lived for 25 years. Kay Larson was born in Boone, Iowa, on May 6, 1938, the daughter of LeRoy and Leta (Harding) Ellsworth. She graduated from Boone High School in 1956. On April 10, 1959, Maridith married William Larson in Boone. The couple lived in Boone until 1969, moving to Decatur, Illinois, Lima, Ohio, and finally Overland Park, Kansas, where they lived for 25 years. Maridith returned to Boone in 2010, after William's death. In Overland Park, she worked as a secretary for a landscaping company and a food broker. Maridith enjoyed traveling with her husband, feeding and watching birds, growing house plants, entertaining family and friends, going to art fairs, and taking care of her dogs over the years. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and brothers-in-law Ralph Scheuermann, Merlin Hubby, and Arthur Weiss. Maridith is survived by two sisters, Royalie Weiss of Dike and Chloris (Bill) Williams of Boone; nephews Dan (Marta) Anderson of Reinbeck and Lance Hubby of Ogden; niece Dannette Anderson of Reinbeck; great nephews Tucker (Kim) Anderson of Strawberry Point, Zachary (Sara) Anderson of Dike, Cole (Kayla) Anderson of Holland, and Waylon Hubby and Ethan Hubby, both of Ogden; a great niece Nora Hubby of Ogden; three great-great nephews and three great-great nieces; and many cousins and friends.
