She was the wife of the late Issac W. Strausbaugh. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 26, 2012 at St. Jacob's Lutheran Church, 99 East George St., York New Salem, with Rev. Marshall H. Gante officiating. Burial will be in St. Jacob's Union Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the church. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Strausbaugh was born on November 18, 1918 in Manheim Township, York County, a daughter of the late Allen L. and Cora (Albright) Rohrbaugh. She had been employed as a Cafeteria Employee at the York Co. Vocational Technical School for many years. She graduated in 1938 from Codorus Township High School and was a member of St. Jacob's Lutheran Church, where she sang on the church Choir and served as Superintendent of the Sunday School and on various committees of the church. She had lived at County Meadows on Trolley Road and resided at the York Lutheran Home since December 2009. She is survived by three daughters, Louann F. Larkin of Gainesville, Va., Carla S. Horn of York and Sharon K. Pearson of Hummelstown; a son, Thomas L. Strausbaugh of Millmont; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters and four brothers.
