Born June 9, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Anna Mary (McKenzie) and Samuel Louis Lease. She was also preceded in death by her brother, James Lease; and her infant sister, Jeannie; a nephew Michael Goldsworthy and a niece Jennice Goldsworthy. Marie worked at VanMeters Market and Cresaptown Eagles. She also cared for her parents until their passing. Marie is survived by who she considered her daughter, Tina VanMeter and husband Bill, Cresaptown; Tina and Bills children Billy VanMeter and fiancé Carissa Kile; and Kristina VanMeter and fiancée Kevin Beers; grandchildren Jaylynn Albright and Bryson Beers, all of Cresaptown; a brother, Samuel Lease and wife Linda, Short Gap, WVa; a sister Eva Jean Goldsworthy, Fairgo; nephews Andy Lease, Scott Lease, Brian Lease, Scott Lease,Jr, Cresaptown and Timothy Lease, Cody Lease and a niece Logan Lease, Hyndman Visitation will be at Scarpelli Funeral Home, PA, Cresaptown on Wednesday, November 1 from 11:00am until 1:00pm. A funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home, Interment will be in St. Ambrose Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andy Lease, Timothy Lease, Scott Lease, Jr., Billy VanMeter, Bill VanMeter and Chris Warren. In honor of Maries memory, the family requests donations to Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A. Condolences may be left at www.scarpellifh.com
