Poplin and Pearl Mabry Poplin, and step-daughter of Onnie Mae Poplin Simpson of Norwood, NC. She was homemaker, member of Mt. View Baptist Church, and loved flowers and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmer J. Huneycutt, and one brother, Max Poplin. She is survived by one son, Roger Dale Huneycutt and wife Jane of Richfield, NC; three daughters: Pat Hatley and husband Larry of Albemarle, NC, Jo Culp and husband Pete of Badin, NC, and Kathy H. Almond and husband John of New London, NC; three brothers: Bryce Poplin of Norwood, NC, John Poplin of Norwood, NC, and Ray Poplin of Norwood, NC; one half-brother, Rodney Poplin of Norwood, NC; one sister, Faye Pope of Norwood, NC; one half-sister, Diane Howell of Durham, NC; nine grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. A very special thanks to her grandson, Jeremy Almond, for the love and care given to his grandmother.
