Description	:	PARK CITY--Marie Sitzman, 96, of Park City, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 27, 2001. She had been a resident for the past two years at Stillwater Community Hospital Extended Care in Columbus. Marie was born on July 29, 1904, in the German community of Frank, Russia, and came to the U.S. at the age of 7. She had lived in Park City since her marriage to John Sitzman in 1925. Read More	PARK CITY--Marie Sitzman, 96, of Park City, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 27, 2001. She had been a resident for the past two years at Stillwater Community Hospital Extended Care in Columbus. Marie was born on July 29, 1904, in the German community of Frank, Russia, and came to the U.S. at the age of 7. She had lived in Park City since her marriage to John Sitzman in 1925. Survivors include her daughters, Betty (Al) Kraft of Helena, Donna Eckhoff of Tacoma, Wash, and Lillian (Henry) Weschenfelder of Shepherd; her sons, John W. (Dorothy) Sitzman and Walter (Bonnie) Sitzman, both of Park City; 14 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Sam Bernhardt and Loveen Bernhardt both of Billings. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, John Sitzman, and two sisters and five brothers. Marie loved gardening and enjoyed sharing her beautiful flowers with the church and with family and friends. She also found much joy in making quilts for each of her children and grandchildren. She looked forward to each Wednesday, to be with the Senior Citizens Group in Park City and was their Program Director for many years. Marie enjoyed sharing the love of Jesus with the Sunday School children, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren in her younger years and was a faithful member and served in various activities within St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Park City. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, March 30, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Park City, followed by internment in the Park City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul's Lutheran Church;PO Box 188, Park City, MT 59063 or charity of choice. Smith Funeral Chapel Laurel was in charge of arrangements.
