She first married Otis Hoagland, December 1, 1891, and they had one child, Ava Marie, also student in the Mount Pleasant schools. Her second marriage was to James Ferdinand Forbes on July 16, 1900 in Mt. Pleasant, Henry, Iowa. 5. William, living in Omaha, Nebraska, married Miss Addie Pucket, who died leaving three children, Leota, Harry and Clarence Harlan. His second marriage was to Miss Myrtle Phillips, of Hastings, by whom he has two children 6. Richard married Miss Rebecca Margaret Eggers and had three children, Frederick Nicholas, Mildred, and Dorothy Marie.
