Description	:	Funeral services for Marie C. Wincell, 91, of Wall Lake were held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1998, at Peace Lutheran Church in Wall Lake. Pastor Roger Carlisle officiated. Mrs. Wincell passed away at Twilight Acres in Wall Lake on Friday, October 30, 1998. Music was by organist Roland Erickson and congregational singing. Marge Stickrod, Bev Polzien and Leona Dreessen were in charge of floral arrangements. Pallbearers were Marty Woerdehoff, Steve Nuetzman, Lester Rohde, Wilbert Rohde, Jack Stickrod and Glenn Nissen. Marie Catherine Wincell was born October 13, 1907, in Wall Lake, the daughter of Juergen and Elizabeth Gonnerman Gosch. She was baptized December 2, 1907, and confirmed in 1923. She attended public school. On April 13, 1942, she married William Wincell at Wall Lake. They lived in Wall Lake. Mrs. Wincell was employed at Twilight Acres for 12 years. She retired in 1975. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and crocheting. Survivors include two sisters: Emma Gosch of Wall Lake and Leona Anderson of Vancouver, Wash.; a brother, Chris Gosch of Wall Lake and a brother and his wife, Ferd and Irene Gosch of Hawarden; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William; her parents; a sister, Alvina; three brothers: Louis, Clause and Martin; and a nephew, Paul.
