Description	:	Lineberry, Marie, March 28, 1908 to March 19, 2007. Grandma passed away peacefully at her home in Laguna Beach, California at the age of 98. She was a devout member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Laguna Beach. She attended church there every Sunday for many years, volunteering her time to church activities, until a few years ago when she was no longer able to get around on her own. Read More	Lineberry, Marie, March 28, 1908 to March 19, 2007. Grandma passed away peacefully at her home in Laguna Beach, California at the age of 98. She was a devout member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Laguna Beach. She attended church there every Sunday for many years, volunteering her time to church activities, until a few years ago when she was no longer able to get around on her own. She was born in Buffalo, Wisconsin, and grew up in Rolling Stone, Minnesota near Winona. She ran a catering business at the local Country Club until she left Minnesota for California. She married 1932, had one son, and was left a widow after ten years of marriage. She and her son moved to Long Beach, California in 1943 where she met Homer Lineberry. They were married in 1949. Grandma and grandpa were happily married for nearly 50 years until his death in 1996. Grandma was a business woman at a time when that was rare. She owned a medical billing business in Long Beach for many years until her retirement in 1968. Shortly after retirement she and our Grandfather moved to Laguna Beach. Grandma was preceded in death by her husband Homer, son Bob and sisters Gertrude and Teresa. She is survived by two grandchildren, Greg Averill, Cindy Dennison and her Husband Alfred ; six great-grandchildren, David, Chris, Chad, Tyler, Lindsay and Shaun; 3 great-great-grandchildren, Nathan, Alexa and Autumn, a special niece and her husband, Karen and Jim Fitzpatrick from Minnesota, as well as many other relatives and close friends too numerous to mention. Services will be held Friday, March 23 at 12:00 at St Catherine's and a burial service at Ascension Cemetery will be held immediately following. There will also be a reception for family and friends at the Grandma's house following the services. The family requests memorials in lieu of flowers be sent to the National MPS Society at p.o. box 736, Bangor, ME 04402-0736.
