Mrs. Jacob Suelzle, Harvey, N.Dak. The deceased was laid to final rest Sunday, March 7, 1920. The funeral service was conducted by Elder John Roth, and a large number of relatives, friends and acquaintances attended. Besides her husband the deceased is survived by 9 children all of them married; two brothers, one in Lodi,Calif. and the other in Marion, Kansas. She has a sister who is still living in South Russia; 40 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. As an 18 year old girl she went to the Krim with her parents, she was married there in 1868. They lived in the Krim until 1886, and in that year they emigrated to America and settled in Milltown, S. Dak. In the first year in Milltown a son died, and in 1888, during the terrible cold winter that swept across the whole country, two of her sons, Johann, age 17, and Ludwig, age 13, were frozen to death. That was a dreadful tragedy for the devoted parents. In 1896 they left S. Dak. for N. Dak. and settled 7 1/2 miles south of Harvey. in 1913 they gave up farming and went to live in well earned retirement with their oldest son, George, where they stayed until the present time. The 72 year old father is still in very good health.
