She continued living in Leeds until 2002 when she became a resident of the Heart of America Medical Center Long Term Care Unit in Rugby. She was a member of the Leeds Lutheran Church. She was baptized at North Prairie Lutheran Church north of Leeds in 1941 and confirmed at the Leeds Lutheran Church in 1959. Survivors include a brother, Victor (Clara) Buchta of Rugby. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four sisters, Rose Lunell, Lily Wirtz, Irene Anderson and GGrace Lemke; and four brothers, Frank, John and Raymond Buchta and an infant.
