Description	:	Mrs. Marie Meinberg, nee Goetz, was born in Hessen, Dharmstadt, Germany, January 18, 1853 and departed this life early Wednesday morning, August 9, 1933, aged 80 years, 6 months and 21 days. After coming to America in 1867 she spent the first five years near Davis, Stephenson county, Illinois. On January 23, 1873, she was united in marriage to Henry Meinberg and to this union four children were born, one daughter passing away in infancy. Read More	Mrs. Marie Meinberg, nee Goetz, was born in Hessen, Dharmstadt, Germany, January 18, 1853 and departed this life early Wednesday morning, August 9, 1933, aged 80 years, 6 months and 21 days. After coming to America in 1867 she spent the first five years near Davis, Stephenson county, Illinois. On January 23, 1873, she was united in marriage to Henry Meinberg and to this union four children were born, one daughter passing away in infancy. In 1874 she came to Nebraska, settling on a farm northeast of Milford and here resided for 29 years. In 1903 she and her husband moved to Seward where they lived on a farm three quarters of a mile north of town and resided here until the death of her husband December 25, 1929. Since then she has made her home with her daughter near Milford. She leaves to mourn her loss, one son, George of Seward, Mrs. Henry Eggerling of Milford and Mrs. Charles Brose of Seward, twelve grandchildren and other relatives. Mrs. Meinberg is the last of the charter members of the Evangelical Friedens Church Funeral services were held from the home of her daughter near Milford Friday afternoon at 1:30 and from the Evangelical Friedens Church, Seward, at 2 o'clock, Rev.
