Description	:	MARBURG LETTER. (From Our Own Correspondent.) A DEATH. It is my sad duty to report the death of Mrs. Marie Profke, who passed away at her residence yesterday evening about 4 o'clock. The deceased was born at Wilmene, in Germany, in 1870, being therefore only 31 years of age at the time of her demise. It is my sad duty to report the death of Mrs. Marie Profke, who passed away at her residence yesterday evening about 4 o'clock. The deceased was born at Wilmene, in Germany, in 1870, being therefore only 31 years of age at the time of her demise. She came to Queensland in 1872, and at the age of 22 was married to Mr. Herman F. W. Profke, whom she lost in 1899. At the age of 27 she married Mr. W. Profke, brother of her deceased husband. The deceased leaves a husband and four small children (the eldest of whom is only seven years of age, and the youngest only one year) to mourn their loss, and much sympathy has been expressed for them. She was ill for only a few days, and as she was getting worse, Dr. Flynn of Ipswich was sent for. He saw deceased on Friday, on the evening of which day she breathed her last. She was buried in the Marburg Lutheran Cemetery on Sunday morning, her funeral being attended by a large number of mourners, and being about a quarter of a mile in length. Mr. F.
