Rev. Paul Akin officiated. Mrs. Frances Peel accompanied Mrs. Gerald Wollenhaupt as she sang, "Beyond the Sunset" and "How Great Thou Art." Mrs. Polly Casey, Mrs. Dorothy McElfish, and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Jensen were in charge of the flowers. Casket bearers were Joe Casey, Ralph Follmann, Roy Follmann, Henry Ortgies, Morris McElfish, and John Ortgies. Interment was in the Massena township cemetery. Lucile Marie Jensen, daughter of Roy and Josephine Fullerton Roberts, was born May 20, 1917 at Malvern and passed away Thursday, July 22 at the Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Corning, where she had been six days. Prior to this she had been in the Heritage House on year and hospitalized five weeks at Cass County Memorial Hospital. She had been failing health the past two years. On January 24, 1934 she was united in marriage to Elwood Louis Jensen in Atlantic. They lived in the Anita vicinity and at Massena for several years, where they operated a clothing store and restaurant. Mr. Jensen passed away January 8, 1966. In later years she managed a motel at Avoca and was also a waitress until her health failed. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Delmar (Joann) McElfish and Mrs. John (Patsy) Ihnen of Massena, Mrs. Jerry (Peggy) Colt and Mrs. Larry (Kay) Fudge of Corning; 11 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Marvin (Edna) Dodd of Wellville, Missouri, Mrs. Douglas (Virginia) Christian of Napa, California; a half borther, Vern Odem, Jr., of Farnhamville, a half sister, Mrs. Russell (Shirley) Beasley of Toledo and her step-father, Vern Oden, Sr. of Wellsville, Missouri.
