She came to America in April 1884 and settled at Fontanelle. On January 15, 1885 she was married to Solomon Pfeiffer and to this union six children were born: Mrs. Ed Clow of Garber, Oklahoma, John of Tonkawa, Oklahoma and Albert of Tulsa, Oklahoma, with their father, survive her while Emma and Anna, after having established homes, have gone before. She came to America in April 1884 and settled at Fontanelle. On January 15, 1885 she was married to Solomon Pfeiffer and to this union six children were born: Mrs. Ed Clow of Garber, Oklahoma, John of Tonkawa, Oklahoma and Albert of Tulsa, Oklahoma, with their father, survive her while Emma and Anna, after having established homes, have gone before. One child died in infancy. She is also survived by five grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Pfeiffer moved to Oklahoma in 1890 where Mrs. Pfeiffer continued to practice her chosen profession, that of nurse, until her health failed. They returned to Nebraska in 1916 hoping the change would aid in the recovery and have since made this their home. She was always cheerful and bore her suffering with a fortitude becoming her faith. She was confirmed in the Lutheran church but in Oklahoma she became a member of the Methodist church. Upon her return here she joined the German Methodist Church and has continued to live a Christian life. She was also a member of the Eastern Star Order. She died December 4, 1926, having reached the age of 66 years, one month and three days. Funeral services were conducted in the Congregational Church Tuesday afternoon by Rev. J.E.
