Description	:	Marie Imm, formerly of Orleans,Nebrska departed this life and entered The Eternal Home on October 30, 2009, at Good Samaritan Society Home in Alma, Nebraska. Marie was 92 years of age having been born on February 10, 1917, in rural Harlan County, Nebraska to Gotthold and Mary (Borges) Seyler. Marie attended grade school at Rural District 8 south of Alma, Nebraska and graduated from Alma, Nebraska High School in 1934. Marie was 92 years of age having been born on February 10, 1917, in rural Harlan County, Nebraska to Gotthold and Mary (Borges) Seyler. Marie attended grade school at Rural District 8 south of Alma, Nebraska and graduated from Alma, Nebraska High School in 1934. She attended Kearney State Teachers College and earned her teaching certificate. She then taught rural schools in Harlan County Nebraska for seven years and at Republican City, Nebraska for one year. On Aug. 21, 1942, she married Wayne Imm in Santa Monica, California. After the couple's marriage, the family made their home on a farm south of Orleans, Nebraska until they moved to Alma, Nebraska in 1983. After retiring, they spent their winters in Edinburg, Texas, where they did volunteer work at Rio Grande Bible Institute. She moved to Colonial Villa Good Samaritan Society Home in Alma in March of 2009. She was the oldest living member of the Alma Evangelical Free Church of Alma, Nebraska and had been a member for more than 70 years. She taught Sunday school for young children and Bible School for many years. She also was a member of the Women's Missionary Society and served as district president for several years. She had a neighborhood Bible study in her farm home for many years. She was a former Eldorado Township 4-H leader and former member of the Christian Women's Club. She was a former member of the Bible Memory Association. Survivors are husband, Wayne Imm; son, Ronald Imm and his wife, Janeice, of Orleans, Nebraska; daughters Judy Mitchell and her husband, Alan, of Evanston, Wyoming and Karen Gove and her husband, Todd, of Lincoln, Nebraska and a host of relatives and friends She was preceded her in death by her son Richard on March 24, 1975; her mother, Mary Seyler on Nov. 20, 1928; her father, Gotthold Seyler in 1960; and brothers Ralph Seyler and his wife, Grace; Paul Seyler and his wife, Elizabeth; Clemens Seyler and his wives Kathryn and Gladys and Albert Seyler and his wife, Jennie.
