She graduated from Harlan high school in 1943 and on November 20, 1944 she married Donald E. Miller at Harlan. To this union two children were born. Surviving are her husband, Donald, 2 sons, David and Michael; her mother, Mrs. Sylvia Kobold of Harlan, Iowa; two brothers, Jack of Omaha, Nebraska and Mike of Bellflower, California; three sisters, Mrs. Milford (Helen) Rold of Harlan, Iowa, Mrs. Rudy (Marcella "Sally") Bauer of Indianapolis, Indiana and Carol of Harlan, Iowa. The Rev. Leo J. Gannon was celebrant of the Requiem High Mass in St. Michael's Church, Wednesday, February 21, 1962. Burial was in the Harlan cemetery.
