Read More	* IN LOVING MEMORY OF * Marilyn Jean (Alexander) Stanley was born on Saturday; September 4, 1937 in Lineville; Wayne County, Iowa. She was the daughter of: James Earl and Selva P. (Cunningham) Alexander. Marilyn grew up in the Lineville area, with her brothers, James and Donald Alexander. She graduated from the Lineville High School. In 1970, she married Richard A. Stanley. To this union was born a daughter: Kathryn. Marilyn enjoyed taking care of her family as a homemaker in Lineville, Iowa. About thirty years ago, she and her family moved to the Chariton; Lucas County, Iowa area where she lived out the rest of her life. In Marilyn's spare time she enjoyed reading books. When her eye sight worsened and she could no longer read books, she was content to listen to books on tape. She also enjoyed the times spent with family and friends. Marilyn Jean (Alexander) Stanley, age: 74, passed away on Tuesday; March 6, 2012 at the Lucas County Health Center in Chariton, Iowa. Those left to mourn her passing are: Her daughter: Kathy Cline of Williamson; Lucas County, Iowa. Her brother: James Alexander of Lombard; DuPage County, Illinois. Her son-in-law: Tim Cline of Williamson, Iowa. Her grandsons: Timmy, Nick, Austin and Sawyer Cline of Williamson, Iowa. Also several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and a host of friends. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents: James Earl and Selva (Cunningham) Alexander. Her husband: Richard Stanley and her brother: Donald Alexander. May they rest in peace. May God bless her memory and give strength to those that mourn. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday; March 9, 2012 at the Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton, Iowa. Funeral services will begin at: 10:30 a.m. on Saturday; March 10, 2012 also at the Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton, Iowa. Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery in Lineville, Iowa.
