Description	:	Coon Rapids Enterprise October 19, 1934 Marilyn June Steele, small daughter of Mrs. Iva Steele, passed away at St. Anthony hospital at Carroll Sunday night following a three day's illness. She was taken sick suddenly Thursday night but Sunday morning seemed much improved, around noon her condition changed and she was taken to the hospital where in spite of the best medical attention she passed away about 8:45 p.m. Marilyn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Steele, was born in Willow township March 11, 1933 where she was baptized in the Lutheran faith. On March 2 of this year her father passed away since which time she has with her mother made her home with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. V. Hilgenberg. Everything that loving hands could do was done for little Marilyn and left to mourn her passing are her grief stricken mother, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Steele and Mr. and Mrs.A.V. Hilgenberg, three uncles; Orrin and Daryle Hilgenberg and Donald Schultz. and one aunt, Mrs. Donald Schultz, besides four great grandparents and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 17. at 1:30 p. m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. V. Hilgenberg and at 2 o'clock at Trinity Ev. Lutheran church in Willow township. The pastor, Rev. W. H. Freiderich had charge of the services. Words of comfort were based on John 13 and 7. The hymn "Nearer My God to Thee," was sung by young ladies of the congregation. Burial was in the Coon Rapids cemetery.
