Description	:	Marilyn Kay Wentz, 72, of Adams, formerly of Sterling, died Saturday afternoon, March 7, 2015, at the Gold Crest Retirement Center in Adams. She was born on February 4, 1943 at Adams and lived in the Adams and Sterling vicinity her entire life. She was a former member of the United Methodist Church of Sterling and currently was a member of the Hopewell United Methodist Church of rural Sterling. She was born on February 4, 1943 at Adams and lived in the Adams and Sterling vicinity her entire life. She was a former member of the United Methodist Church of Sterling and currently was a member of the Hopewell United Methodist Church of rural Sterling. She enjoyed crocheting, hook latching, watching TV, dogs and being with small children. Survivors include her mother, Rachel Wentz of Adams; four brothers, Donald Wentz and Kenneth Wentz and wife Ardis all of Sterling, Larry Wentz and wife Nancy of Fernandina Beach, FL and David Wentz and wife Eileen of Columbus; two sisters, Delores Cooper and husband Don of Firth and Linda Goracke and husband John of Tecumseh; sister-in-law, Lola Wentz of Sterling; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Wentz, who died in 1996, one brother, Robert Wentz and one sister-in-law, Elaine Wentz. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at Hopewell United Methodist Church of rural Sterling with Rev. Rob Clark officiating. Burial will be at the Sterling Cemetery of Sterling. A memorial has been established to the Sterling Rescue Squad and Gold Crest Retirement Center of Adams. The body will lie in state at the Zink-Fox Funeral Home of Sterling on Tuesday from 8:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. and then one hour preceding the service at the church on Wednesday. The family will meet and greet relatives and friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Zink-Fox Funeral Home of Sterling is in charge of the arrangements.
