Marilyn was born in Clinton on July 13, 1928, the daughter of Ernest and Erna (Dierks) Sander. She graduated from Goose Lake High School in 1945. Marilyn married Timothy Mullen on February 12, 1949, at St. Mary's Church in Clinton. Marilyn had worked in the offices at E.I. Marilyn was born in Clinton on July 13, 1928, the daughter of Ernest and Erna (Dierks) Sander. She graduated from Goose Lake High School in 1945. Marilyn married Timothy Mullen on February 12, 1949, at St. Mary's Church in Clinton. Marilyn had worked in the offices at E.I. DuPont, as a waitress at the Ike's and Port Hole, and at Bob's Meat Market. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish, Loyal Order of Moose, Eagle Club, AARP and the Plus 60 Club. She enjoyed bowling, cooking and baking, especially blarney stones for St. Patrick's Day. She had been a volunteer, delivering mobile meals for over 20 years. Marilyn is survived by her husband, Tim; three children, Karilyn (Larry) Bahnsen of DeWitt, Kristy (Lyle) Eberhart of DeWitt and Tim J. (Joy) Mullen of Toccoa, Ga.; eight grandchildren, Chris Bahnsen, Kari Eberhart, Erin Meyermann, Michael Eberhart, Amanda Eberhart, Jason Kaup, Jared Kaup and Jessica Sparks; 11 great-grandchildren, Karlee, Taylor, Cole, Jack, Adam, Ashlyn, Addisyn, Brenna, Brylee, Bridgett and Jovi; and three sisters, Kay Claussen of Clinton, Elaine Jepsen of Goose Lake and Myrna Pidde of Thomson. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Paul and Hobart.
