Services were held at 10:30 a.m. today, Wednesday, August 3, in the First Reformed Church in Hull with the Rev. Raymond Denekas and the Rev. Delmar Int Veld officiating. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Visitation was held in the Kraai-Oolman Funeral Home in Hull. Mr. Intveld was born May 15,1891, in The Netherlands. In 1911 he came to the United States and to Sioux County with his parents. He married Louise Vermeer Feb. 16, 1922, at Hull. The couple farmed near Hull until 1950 when they retired to town. In 1981 they became residents of Valley Manor in Rock Valley. Mrs. Intveld died Nov. 2, 1982, in Rock Valley. Mr. Intveld was a member of the First Reformed Church where he had served on the consistory and had been a Sunday School teacher. He served as mayor of Hull for several years and was a member of the Sioux County Board of Education for 13 years. Survivors include two sons, James of Rock Rapids and Leroy of Hull; four daughters, Elizabeth Boeve of Rock Valley, Mrs. Albert (Cynthia) Boeve and Mrs. Donald (Margaret) Kuiken, both of Luverne, Minn., and Mrs. Arnold (Thelma) Merming of Omaha; a sister, Pauline Punt of Sioux Center; 26 grandchildren and 46 greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, a great-granddaughter; six brothers-and two sisters. Rock Valley Bee 1988-08-03.
