Description	:	Workman Drops Dead of Heart Failure Marinus Jansen, 38, dropped dead of heart failure while working in the barn at Gerrit Vreeman’s farm at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Just shortly before while having lunch in the house he had complained of a pain in his chest. He had been doing day labor on the Vreeman farm. Read More	Workman Drops Dead of Heart Failure Marinus Jansen, 38, dropped dead of heart failure while working in the barn at Gerrit Vreeman’s farm at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Just shortly before while having lunch in the house he had complained of a pain in his chest. He had been doing day labor on the Vreeman farm. Last spring Jansen had a severe attack of rheumatism and was confined to bed for nearly two months. It appears that the effects of this illness was active at the time of his death. Mr. Jansen came to Sioux Center from Ede, Gelderland, about ten years ago. His brother Tunis was farming here at the time. Later his father and brother Henry came over. Marinus has been a laborer during these years and is well known. Two years ago, on Jan. 8, 1931, he married Martha Van Velzen, and they have been living on the Wm. Vande Brake farm southwest of town. The funeral will be held Friday, 12:30 p.m. at the home, and 1:30 at the First Christian Ref. Church. Rev. Dykstra will officiate.
