He married Nell Taylor on July 16, 1956, in Clinton. A life - resident of Lone Tree, he was a retired farmer and had been employed at the Corbett Lumber Company. He was a member of the Lone Tree Methodist church, Masonic Lodge, and the Order, of Eastern Star. Survivors include his wife; three brothers, Harold of Centralia, Wash., Howard of West Liberty, and Eugene of Kankakee, Ill.; and one sister, Mrs. Earl (Lucille) Rife of Lone.
