Marion was a fire fighter, a member of the Iowa County Landfill Board of Directors, a long-haul truck owner-operator and retired as a carpenter. He was the son of Marion Conner Sr. and Irene Whitmore. He was proceeded in death by his wife Shirley, parents, daughter-in-law Penny (Davis) Conner and son-in-law Roger Lown.
