Description	:	Marion Jones, 104, formerly of Hicksville, died Saturday, February 13, 2010, at the Bryan Care and Rehabilitation Center, Bryan, Ohio. Marion was born May 15, 1905, the daughter of Murrell and Clara (Ronk) Dennis. She married Forrest Jones on June 23, 1923, and he preceded her in death in 1989. Marion was a homemaker. She was a very involved member in the Grace United Methodist Church in Hicksville, cooking meals for the Hicksville Rotary Club and baking many pies for the church's "GUM Drop" at the Defiance County Fair. Marion was born May 15, 1905, the daughter of Murrell and Clara (Ronk) Dennis. She married Forrest Jones on June 23, 1923, and he preceded her in death in 1989. Marion was a homemaker. She is survived by three daughters, Doris Jessup of Fort Wayne, Ind., Clara Mae Greenler of Ayersville, Ohio, and Dorothea Klopfenstein of Bartlett, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; two daughters, Alice Gerken and Maxine Urschler; two grandsons; two great-grandchildren; five sisters, Juanita Volkert, Madonna Franks, Elma Dennis, Valetta Myers and Garnet Keener; and three brothers, Howard, Richard and Thomas. The funeral service will be Wednesday at Grace United Methodist Church, Hicksville, at 10 a.m. Pastor Greg Wack will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday at Smith & Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville, from 2-7 p.m.
