Born October 6, 1930, in Forest City, NC, he was the son of the late Doc B. Crow and Madge B. Crow. Active in the... Read More	Marion Gilbert Crow, 75, of Cowpens, SC, died Sunday, August 27, 2006, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born October 6, 1930, in Forest City, NC, he was the son of the late Doc B. Crow and Madge B. Crow. A graduate of Forest City High School and King's Business School, he retired from Kohler Company after 36 years of service. He was a very active member of the First Baptist Church of Cowpens where he was Sunday School Superintendent, Chairman of the Deacons, and teacher of the J. W. Martin Sunday School Class. Active in the community, he was a member of the Spartanburg School District 3 School Board Advisory Committee, a former School Board member and mentor, and a former president and active member of the Cowpens Lions Club. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Korean War Veterans Association. Survivors include his wife, Betty Weber Crow; a son, Edward Crow and his wife Terrie Crow of Cowpens; a daughter, Lesa C. Bolin and her husband Ken Bolin of Cowpens; and three grandchildren, Lauren Crow, Andrew Bolin, and Jacob Bolin. He was predeceased by a sister, Dot Johnson. Visitation was 6:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 29, 2006, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 30, 2006, at the First Baptist Church of Cowpens conducted by the Rev. Ronell Owensby, the Rev. Dr. M. B. Morrow, Jr., and the Rev. Dr. Aubrey Floyd. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Deacons of the First Baptist Church of Cowpens. Honorary Escort was members of the J. W. Martin Sunday School Class, the Korean War Association, and the Cowpens Lion's Club. In lieu of flowers, memorials could be made to the First Baptist Church Organ Fund, P. O.
