Gonda officiating and the McIntyre-Jacobsen Funeral Home in charge. burial was in the Elba Cemetery. Rosary was recited at the home at 8 o'clock Monday evening. Pallbearers were: Victor Grossart, Archie Nelson, Joe Gillham, Hamilton Manzel, Arthur Womack and Carrol DeBower. Mr. Panowicz was born March 31, 1906 in Elba, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Panowicz and passed away at the age of 46 years, 9 months and 16 days. He and Miss Frances McIntyre were married November 28, 1933. He is survived by his wife, a son, Marion, and a daughter, Patricia Ann; four brothers, Raymond and Frank of Elba, Edward of Valentine, and Joseph, address unknown; a sister, Mrs. Helen Kricak, Comstock. His parents, a sister and an infant son preceded him in death. He will be greatly missed by the community, as he was a ardent sport fan and contributed much toward the completion of the auditorium. He always gave a very capable hand to his neighbors, friends to all community activities and work.
