| Description | : | Marion Louise Cottrell died Tuesday evening, Nov. 13, 2007, at the Butte Convalescent Center, surrounded by her family. Marion was born in New Orleans, La., on Feb. 6, 1926, to Milton and Louise (Gray) Harris. Marion grew up in a Catholic boarding school and graduated from S. Scholastic Academy in Covington, La., in May of 1942. She married Melvin Cottrell in Fall River, Mass., on May 17, 1945. They moved to Butte in 1954. Mr. Cottrell died in 1991.
