Hilgenkamp, 93 years, of Lake Mary, Florida, formerly of Arlington, Nebraska died Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Lake Mary, Florida, after a long illness. Marjorie was born February 10, 1921 at Fremont, Nebraska to Herman and Adela (Brunkow) Gnuse. She attended school at Bisbee and was a graduate of Arlington High School. Marjorie married Virgil H. Hilgenkamp on May 10, 1942 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Arlington. The couple farmed north east of Arlington for many years. Virgil preceded her in death June 4, 1991. Marjorie was born February 10, 1921 at Fremont, Nebraska to Herman and Adela (Brunkow) Gnuse. She attended school at Bisbee and was a graduate of Arlington High School. Marjorie married Virgil H. Hilgenkamp on May 10, 1942 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Arlington. The couple farmed north east of Arlington for many years. Virgil preceded her in death June 4, 1991. Marjorie moved to Florida about 4 years ago. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Arlington and the Ladies Aid. She is survived by son, David and wife, Joanne Hilgenkamp of Arlington; daughter, Mary Ann and husband, John Dole of Longwood, Florida; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Virgil; and sisters, Lanetta Bensen and Ada Wood; and a grandchild. Funeral service will be 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church north of Arlington. The Rev. Rick Kanoy and The Rev. Jason Duley will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 20, 2015 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM with family receiving friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington. Visitation continues on Wednesday at the church 1 hour prior to service. Burial will be at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery at Arlington. Memorials may be directed to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or St. Paul’s Lutheran School."
