Description	:	Marjorie Arlene (Bilstein) Field, 89 of Madison, NE., formerly of Albion, NE., passed away Monday, November 26, 2012 at Countryside Home in Madison, NE. Marjorie, daughter of Louis and Pearl (Young) Bilstein, was born December 9, 1922 in Akron, NE. Marjorie attended rural district #53 in Boone County, NE. and graduated from Albion (NE.) Read More	Marjorie Arlene (Bilstein) Field, 89 of Madison, NE., formerly of Albion, NE., passed away Monday, November 26, 2012 at Countryside Home in Madison, NE. Marjorie, daughter of Louis and Pearl (Young) Bilstein, was born December 9, 1922 in Akron, NE. Marjorie attended rural district #53 in Boone County, NE. and graduated from Albion (NE.) High School in 1940. Following graduation, Marge taught school for a time, practice teaching under Leona Buhlmann at district #39. On May 30, 1942, she was united in marriage to Harold W. "Buck" Field at Junction City, KS. They traveled from the east coast to the west during World War II. For a time, they lived in New York state, where Marjorie worked for a furrier and an ammunitions plant. In 1947, following Buck's honorable discharge from the service, they settled in Albion. Marge worked for J.M. McDonalds Department Stores and also as the secretary at Zion Lutheran Church. They moved to Wayne, NE. in 1965 with Walnut Grove Feed. In 1974 they moved to Madison, NE. where they opened and operated a Coast to Coast Store. In 1994 they sold the store to their son Rick. Marjorie grew up attending the Akron (NE.) Presbyterian Church. In 1947, Marge was confirmed and became a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Albion, NE. She later joined St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wayne, NE. and since 1974 had been a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Madison, NE. She was a member of the Madison (NE.) Chamber of Commerce, several card clubs, Ladies Aid and a lifetime member and past president of the Albion (NE.) VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed golf, quilting, embroidery work and spending time with her family. Marjorie is survived by: children: Pam Wright & husband Steve of Albion, NE; Emery Waine Field & wife Dee of Bozeman, MT; Rick Field & Marci DeLancey of Madison, NE; 10 grandchildren: Doug, Dan, David, Darren and Dana Wright; Clint and Chad Field; Sarah Dawson, Lisa Delancey, Joe DeLancey; 19 great-grandchildren: Stephanie, Scott, Seth, Elena, Betsy, Maleah, Marissa, Karson, Miranda, Xander, Tom, Nate, Taylor, Camden, Allie, Connor, Natalia, Raegan, and Blaire; a sister, Judy VanDeWalle and husband Bob, of Albion, NE and many dear friends and relatives. Marjorie was preceded in death by: parents: husband, Buck Field in 2005; brother in infancy and granddaughter in infancy. Interment was in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Albion, NE.
