Description	:	Marjorie E. Williams, 84, died on November 11, 2021 at the Monticello Healthcare Center in Monticello, IN with one of her daughters at her side. She was born on October 17, 1937 to the late George Abbott Dinwiddie and Evangeline Mary (Strole) Jackson. On November 17, 1952 in Jeffersonville, KY, she married the love of her life, Robert J. Williams, 84, died on November 11, 2021 at the Monticello Healthcare Center in Monticello, IN with one of her daughters at her side. She was born on October 17, 1937 to the late George Abbott Dinwiddie and Evangeline Mary (Strole) Jackson. On November 17, 1952 in Jeffersonville, KY, she married the love of her life, Robert J. "Bob" Williams; he passed away on February 10, 2016. Marjorie and her late husband had lived in the Reynolds, IN area most of their lives before moving to Monticello. Marjorie was raised by her grandma and grandpa Strole. She loved and enjoyed playing the organ, painting, crocheting and needle point. Marjorie married at a young age but then went back to received her GED and then continued onto business college. She attended the original Zion Bethel Church in rural Monticello and would fill up a pew of all of her children and husband. There was a day that Marjorie and all of her family went forward in the church and were saved and baptized. She was known for making carrot cakes for her husband and kids for all of their birthdays. Marjorie was a very dedicated to her husband and all the rest of her family, teaching them all from right and wrong. She is survived by four children; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother; one half-brother; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandparents; son-in-law, David Griffin; one grandson, Aaron Lutes; and one half-brother, Dave Jackson. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home. Rev. Brain Beeks of the Monticello United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will take place in IOOF Riverview Cemetery.
