Marjorie was born August 28, 1898, in Cascade, to Frank and Margaret Marie (Murray) O'Brien. She received her education in the St Martin's Schools in Cascade. On February 15, 1922, at St. Martin's Church in Cascade, she was united in marriage to Mike D. Noonan. The couple farmed in the Garryowen area until their retirement. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Cecelia) Meloy, Bernard, and Miss Frances Noonan, Niles, Ill.; four sons, Michael Noonan, Bernard, Danny Noonan, Cascade, John "Oz" Noonan, Dubuque, and Pat Noonan, Crystal Lake, Ill.; 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson; two sisters, Frances O'Brien, Chicago, Ill., and Josephine Davis, Monticello. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Mike D. Noonan on August 4, 1974, one daughter, Mary Margaret Noonan on July 28, 1941, one son, Robert M. Noonan on July 25, 1986, one grandson, Danny Noonan, Sept. 1, 1981 and two sisters and one brother. Casketbearers for Marjorie were Chris Noonan, Tim Noonan, Sean Noonan, Kevin Noonan, David Meloy and Mark Meloy.
