Margie was born on December 31, 1924, in Lafayette to the late James and Delsie Blackwell Ross. She was a graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School. On May 10, 1946, she married William T. Knowles, and he preceded her in death on March 14, 1990. Margie worked as a Secretary for Purdue University Airport and Field House. She is preceded in death by one brother and four sisters. Services will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at 2 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service at Simplicity Funeral Care.
