Description	:	Marjorie was confirmed on June 4, 1939 at Grace Lutheran Church in Norfolk. She graduated in 1944 from Norfolk High. During summers, she worked at Rasby’s Cleaners, Hested Dime Store, and at Eviscerating Plant. She worked for Western Union in Omaha for a year before returned to Norfolk in 1945. She completed a Red Cross course, then worked at Lutheran Hospital in Norfolk and Fremont hospital. On September 20, 1946, she and Woodrow were married at Grace Lutheran Church by Reverend Reivault. When not working in their plumbing business, she was active in school PTA, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. In 1970, the family moved to Longmont, CO. She worked as a Nurse’s Aide at Longmont United Hospital for four years, the as secretary for Emanuel Lutheran in Green River, WY and at JC Penney’s in Rock Springs, WY. They moved to Oakdale, NE in 1995, then Hugo, CO in 1997, then back to Norfolk in 2000. She had lived in Colorado since 2010. Survivors included: children Dr. Randy T. (Judith) Kohl of Springfield, NE, Carol K. (Dave) Manchester of Grand Island, Joy Rene (Richard) Neel of Gilcrest, CO, Michelle D. (Tom) Brown of Berthoud, CO, and Kevin R. (Connie) Kohl of Evanston, WY; 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren. Preceding were sister Lilah, brother Warren, son Terry, and grandson Thomas. Services held September 10th at Grace Lutheran Church in Norfolk.
